Some thoughts (use it - don't use it)
R2: Polar Palace needs to be above average to beat Solar Triptych on the latter's very good debut - News Flash best of the older runners.
R3: Colby too short in the betting for a 3 yr old taking on her elders - but a PA banker; maybe Amaan could come back fresh to upset and the 5 yr old Galingale could still improve
R4: Tough race - many with chances; for me Fantastic Mr Fox improving again and from a form stable will be right there; Vulcan's best form has been at the Vaal, so not for me, Memeza has good form this trip (last run under the lights the exception) and could place again - however stable has gone cold the last month or so; all of Dennis the Menace, Stavinsky and Cohiba in the race as well
R5: Very tough race; I'm going with the runners that have shown a liking for the trip; so in no particular order I'm including Viking Hero, Nuggets and Torero Dancer; also can't ignore the money for Aurum Pot and while Jolly Good Sir has been better at the Vaal, he would have a chance as well if he could bring that form to Turffontein
R6: Pinnacle Stakes where Ilha Bela (again) looks the part - won the Oaks very easily over the trip, so although that may not have been a strong field, it still shows that she gets the trip - the worry for me is that she has been on the boil now for a while and should have finished a lot closer last time in the Summer Cup; Silvous Plait often thereabouts and is suited to this trip, so should place again; Shimmering Gem on a line through Sky Rise could be better in here than it would appear looking at the ratings, is also suited to the trip and should also be right there, while Rhythmic Roxy is also not badly in - so must have a chance as well; Salutation inconsistent these days, but has a chance at best, while Menacing for me needs to show that he is effective over the 2450m
R7: Novice plate, where Cookie Monster if able to repeat his run behind Gitiano, would have this field stone cold; has been struggling lately, but he has the ability and can't be ignored; Brad's Surge ran a great race behind Shadowofhissmile last time and looks great value at 25/1; Nicklaus apparently has a bit of a reputation, so no surprise to see him pop up; Mercado has not convinced me yet, but I do prefer him to his stable mate Lucky Luciano, Var Bay, Arkansas and Pegged for Glory
R8: Difficult filles and mares handicap, where the spread in the weights bring a lot of runners into the race; first choice for me is Fortitude, who ran 3rd on Sunday over 1400 and will improve over the 1800; obvious chances to a lot of others including Tresco and Pinstripe Miss, while Imperial Empress off a low weight could make the trifecta/quartet pay
R9: Suetan is improving after a rest and is my first choice; Sarge in Charge beat S last ime, so has an obvious chance as well; for me Taarish has a lost to find at these weights, so I prefer Cage Fighter for 3rd
Enjoy (tu)

If the going stays good, then Golden Dawn should be included in exotics. She has missed her last few runs with meetings being abandoned, but she is fit and well and Billy gets on well with her. She has disappointed us a couple of times when choking up in the running, and the tongue tie should help with that. Some value at 20/1 in an open race.
