Race 1: muskets and Roses has been camping in the no. 2 box, but should go one better today unless the first timer is decent. Capt Rei is always thereabouts.
Race 2: Muscatt returns from a year's break and looked a top sprinter in the making in 2012. Sheer dynamite gets 4kg allowance and is my first choice from Western Movie.
Race 3:Mountain Master is no value at evens, and will find Anzac and Warcraft tough opposition. Anzac definitely gets the trip and is the value bet. Most of Warcrafts siblings won beyond a mile so he too should get 1800m. Kung Fu Panda should improve further and he or Hidden Dragon should fill the quartet.
Race 4: Beau Geste looks the right one here, with I am the Law the main danger. Destiny Driven; Fire Fury and Data Controller for minor money.
Race 5:we have Hancock's Dynasty here and his warm up run after resting was ok. He should run a fair race here, but there are a few who are much better off at the weights due to the peculiarities of our handicapping system and he must improve to find a place. All about the Dash ran to a 90 in the Lanzerac, which is ignored by the system, so he is very well in here. Black Pegasus and Nordic Warrior have also been very leniently treated. Unholy Allegiance looks a good sort, and having only his third run should improve well above his current mark. Northern Conquest is a hard knocker now well down in the weights and could give the younger brigade something to worry about.
Selection: All About the Dash/ Unholy Allegiance/ Nordic Warrior/ Black Pegasus.
Race 6/7/8 All competitive handicaps, no selections
Race 9: House of Lorraine should turn the tables on Dinesen, and all of Gin Rummy; Konfessional and Lupin have chances.
Best wishes to all for 2014 from sunny Witsand

On a line through Arachne and on the Trapped in Ice run, Mountain Master will be hard pressed to beat Warcraft, however MM will be a much better prospect over today's trip and was clearly not suited to Dbnville but at the current price i will rather stay out...
Give everything but up!

magi, I would guess CS is a typical example of the bookies reducing the price of a horse far more than they should based on the amount of money put down, This has seemed to me to be an increasingly worrying trend over the last 12 months... they assume (and/or fear) there will be a lot more money coming for the horse and therefore lower the price to, imo, disgraceful levels. When the follow-up money doesn't materialise, the horse drifts again. Can greatly affect some people's approach to a race and the way they bet on said race. They, the bookies, also capture all those who follow the market, in small amounts, at a much lower price than should be the case.

Extremely unethical imo.

All simply guesswork though.

Kenilworth R5 Ashton Park, must have good chance.

Cheltenham have a fantastic 7 race card today with top top horses running but all we get is 2 flapping tracks at Southwell and Musselburgh!
Are Tellytrack dictated as to what they show or is it down to local programmers?

Ashton Park is race 6.
I can't separate the 4 Bass runners, and anything can win this race. Sort of race where I really miss the coupling rule!

According to winningform
Muscatt broke the course record in the Need for Speed Sprint,
Don't think this is correct?
