Combattimento

Pirho, you do make me laugh, think you are maybe the biggest whinger of us all on the quiet! ;) >:D<

Bud, you seem pretty knowledgeable on what to look for in a horse pre-race... when of course you are allowed to by the super-powers that be the TV men

I saw the maestro mention earlier he didn't really have a clue what to look for... as for me, I am probably non-league, compared to Magi! which basically puts me in the know-nothing league again, without time and draw to help me out this time!

Anyway, how about, if you have the time and inclination, and it is not an impossible thing to try and describe on paper, starting a thread on what to look for in the parade ring and going down. What makes a horse look likely to go well and, on the other side, what are the pointers to look for that one won't. Eg... very simple one, how do you spot a horse not striding out? I for one would more than likely find it helpful, informative and interesting.

Just a thought...

Hi guys. Happy happy so far this year. Not had a bet yet, lol

Princess Creo has PE form, i'll admit, but was not really disgraced in a big race in JHb. We all know what they say about CAPE runners raiding in JHB.

I'd know which ones to avoid ;)

I have to be honest, I thought MJ rode an excellent race from the position. Didn't just accept he was at the back and pushed the horse forward so he had a run for the far rail coming off the last bend. Well done and thanks to MJ, takes a fair amount of criticism on here so good to give credit where credit is deserved (tu)

Very keen on Als Bonanza today but with the way Snaith/Fourie have been going today Attachment has to be a big runner from a "high" draw... tis my exacta now. Aksaray and Sis Lynn to be thereabouts but very competitive (... for the minor places ;) lol )

E...I find it easier to see a poor one than a good'un....as Easy would say....knowing what isn't a trier...makes your outlay smaller...;)
That said sometimes only one or two horses in a whole meet stand out...if you are lucky.....but a lot look sh1te...
agitated horses are generally a no-no...but can surprise in a sprint...blah blah blah....
blah blah blah....
blah blah blah....
blah blah blah....
...that said... the best looking, fittest, can still run poorly if the....
money isn't down....
the jock screws up...
the distance is incorrect....
and finally...I think...too many horses running over the incorrect distances....:(
shew...going to have a large DTF drink...and wake up in a different timezone....::o...but picking winners.....:D
