I really can't understand why you are banging on about this - the scoring rules have been set in the original post - by joining surely you accept these rules :S The objective is to maximise your profits - so it is entirley possible for somebody selecting 2 winners at big prices to outscore someone selecting 7 winning favorites - as it happens in real life
If you want, you can organise a similar competition in the future, and then you can set your own rules

It's actually tailored to do the exact opposite, rewarding you with stake back on winners hence giving people who tip more winners, an advantage.

that's what happens when you take a bookie bet and the compo is based on sp bookie price so how can you not get your stake back and pay 6% winning tax?

Surely if you back a winner with a bookie, you get your stake back - for me personally, the only change that I would make is that one would lose your R100 stake if you pick a loser; anyway as I said the scoring rules are set out clearly - so everyone that entered should have been aware of what they are

I got home from bowls and saw a PM from Tipster advising he had paid and wanted to enter. I saw he had indeed entered. I added him to the excel sheet and obviously one of the cells values or formula's is incorrect as one can see the rest of the scores were correct.....
Ah well......

I'm told that sarcasm is the lowest form of whit

I know I'm right - as far as I can see from the above only you were questioning the result - even Tipster said that he did a re-calc and that Mr H is the winner - so there should not have been any confusion whatsoever - if everybody could read properly (tu)
