Hi Guys
Here are my best bets for a tough Vaal card:
Race 1 Lesley Strong 33/10
Race 2 Contador 11/20
Race 3 Queen of Justice 11/2
Race 4 Dragon Faye 6/1
Race 5 Negev 12/10
Take the above Canadian and retire!!!

race 3 imo rolling ruby has the best form of those that have run on sand and the blinkers will hopefully make her race handier today so she isnt left with so much to do as in the past..her dangers seem to be the 2 unknown on sand in hameeya and cosimcoolerthanyou who ran a good 4th on tuesday nite....4th race i agree with some posters that seldomseenkid is big value if he repeats his run to ajuba..i do respect the 11 and 12 ..race5 negev very well placed by lg and im sure he will ensure that her dangers jackodore and break of dawn feel there weight by making it a true run and testing mile especially for jackodore stamina doubts.....race 6 i like sexy and free whose sire throws sand horses and her draw and frontrunning tactics will be well suited..the danger i make is spanish lily whose run to dying thunder over the same course and distance was excellent considering she was 5.5kg under sufferance...race 7 looks to be between tribal code who is very unexposed and mite be far better than a mr 66 on this surface and western dane ...the 9th race i can only have angel gabriel alareef and divine invitation to win...

I want to see Rolling Ruby try a 1450m or 1600m on this surface .

Negev - very well.
Frodo's post is perfect. The only worry is the mile.
In spite of the distance concern , Pirates has read the race/ our strategy correctly - we must make the field carry their weight.

"standard" :S
about 7 mm of rain last night, so fairly quick, but will slow down, become heavier as day progresses.

So please help me understand this - as the track gets 'heavier', does it favor horse coming from off the pace :S
