I agree some will follow blindly
But
I know some that follow richard hannon 2 year olds blindly
Or
Khalid abdullas horses blindly
At least with barney you got a chance at 7/1
Or all the wonderful contributions on this forum based on form studying and then the dissection post mortem when the result makes no sense...
For me i think there are trainers in the uk that pull off stuff like this even more than barney...

I just can't hide my joy when bookmakers get turned over, they are the enemy and everything they do winds me up.
So when they get hit I don't think of other punters I'm afraid..
I've backed 2 horses today with Victor Chandler, they aren't a Curley horse,or pricewise or a tipping line horse, there has been no gamble on.
Big shot Victor, layed me 25% of what I asked for and then shortened the odds of both horses!bah humbug
Catalina's Diamond and Understory

That is entirely different Easy... that is following someone based on consistent performance, which is partly my entire point.
There are plenty punters no doubt who simply back the supposedly unfancied Greeff, Smith, Visser horses every race... how much do the bookies rake in on those bets alone?
Anyway, I've said enough and I think I have made my opinion and points long n loud enough so for all those who don't want to listen, you will pleased to hear that I formally leave this thread (

This week I really fancied one and it ran terrible, the horse that won the race,Nassau Storm,I tipped up on here previously.
I left NS out and it won at 7/1, I was not a happy bunny.Thought NS was a rogue that didn't want to win.
Should I phone the bookmakers and ask for a refund, claiming I made a big error for not following NS in its next run.
They are happy taking, but wait until you hit a purple patch

When I want to punt on jump racing I watch which horse is down in class, given at the bottom of the online compputaform, the other day I got 20/1
at least one of the horses down in class either win or place at big prices per day

Just tried to log into my VC account, but no joy..
Contacted them and was told my account has been closed immediately and that it was a trading decision.
Is it or do they have employees scanning this forum and don't like punters moaning about them.
If they are,your all wankers

Cpt Ryan Price was once quoted as saying that all evil in horseracing could be traced back to bookmakers. Like Barney he regarded them as the enemy and stuffed them anyway he could.

Seems to extend my time with them....i think it creates the illusion of desperado. I might be wrong but only had hills shut me down so far.
