Much cooler weather today and looks like there will be some showers

The weather has changed completely since yesterday. Overcast with light drizzle this morning, clearing later. Most important the expected fresh southeaster (headwind) will NOT be blowing. Now a very gentle tailwind.

Race 2 - nice race .

Azincourt was impressive this c & d but drawn on the inside .

Nice to see Tee Jay Ar take his place - form of maiden win particularly strong .

Daring Dave was super impressive winner of last start .


Race 3 - Happy Forever looks well in here .


Race 5 - Futura looks a promising type , but I've taken places on lightly raced It Is Written .

Maiden win over 1400m was impressive , and may not have been suited to the slowish pace over 1800m in his last start .

Will probably settle better over 1600m and with some luck can finish in the money .


Race 6

Small field - I wonder if Captain America will use his stride and make his own pace . Milers have done well in the Derby .

Power King's run in the Guineas suggests this distance will be perfect .


Race 7

Beach Beauty hasn't been beaten by her own sex for some time and looks the right one . Hammie's Hooker should prefer the 1600m .

Race 8

MOMF is my first choice , but could get a result .

Whiteline Fever was drawn on the outside in the Queens Plate when deep and running on . Second run at Kenilworth and drawn better .

JE I did like but not sure now with his shoe problem .

KOP did have excuses last time and this distance ok .

Respect for Jackson but deep draw and could find 1 or 2 to beat him .

CTN prefers the mile and everything went his way in the Queens Plate - I personally don't like today .
