Entry for the J&B

Im hearing that all owners (unless they have a runner or are a member of the RA ) have to pay a cover charge to get onto the course, also wives/partners of Jocks or assistant trainers that are on duty on the day will also have to fork out around R200 each to attend this year.

WPOTA is no more....it's RA now so everyone had better get used to it.The assistant has a badge and will get in.The jockeys will get their wives in on course.....interesting to see them enforce the new parade ring rules.....

So let me get this straight:

RA members (and their 'guests' - how many ?) get entry into the course for free ?

What about a NHA member that is not a member of the RA - do they pay for entry into the course - if so, how much ?

Could there be some value in being a member of the RA - even only once a year :S

Once you are inside though, I assume it is your choice where you want to go - one of the rooms (booked up I know - and I assume your 'reservation fee' would cover entry to the course) or just have a take-away on the stand :S

did i no read by robin louw these is talk about at nha meeting? for me is the disgrace registered owner anywhere in country is no allow free entry even if he is no member of the ra. i give example. hibby is live in scotland but he come out for holiday. he is feed i think 2 horse in pe. these guy is pay for the horse the operator use for generate income every time he run. so the operator say to hem when he get to j&b you pay just the same for entry as the people who come once the year and no have the clue about raceing. disgrace. i say even worse is the owner who is no the ra member and who have the horse run on the day in the other race than met will all so pay to see hes own horse run
