Scotia on 2014

Hello to the Clan and hope we are all ready for 2014.
I am sure if you went on holiday you have forgotten the trip? Unless you were overseas and are still recovering from the exchange rate (how bad can it get) maybe 20/1 against GBP.
On the subject of the GBP, could we have a Scottish Pound (we do have them but the English are not happy about taking them), as far as the bookies are concerned it will still be Great Britain after the vote, its 1/5 for NO!
I would have to say that after a shaky start in 2014, Miss Diana, Bud Boy and the Sham team have helped recover the festive damage and we have had a couple of very social nights at the Hangover to celebrate the wins.
Miss Diana and Bud Boy
I will unfortunately not be attending the MET this year and will miss my extended lunch with Molly but the Cape Season certainly has been sizzling, some great racing and hype and the big one still to come on Sat. I will not attempt to pick the winner as we have many expert views on the ever growing popular site and if sponsors are looking for major exposure give us a call.
Some of the hot topics
THIS IDIOT RISES TO CONQUER THE MET
HOLLYWOOD- DIFFERENT DIVISION !
MET PANEL DISCUSSION
I will be taking a pick 6 on Saturday and there does look like a couple of solid bankers, a few in the big race and plenty in the remaining legs.
As far as future events Cheltenham and the Derby are also not on the cards this year.
Some early Cheltenham info:
19 time grade1 Hurricane Fly
Mar 11th Champion Hurdle should see Hurricane Fly, The New One, My Tent or Yours and Annie Power battle it out.
Mar 12th Bumper and Champion Chase and if the champ is well maybe a worth taking evens on Sprinter Sacre.
Mar 13th World Hurdle where Big Bucks sadly lost his record in a courageous come back run, but it also might be worth taking a chance at 5/2.
Mar 14th Gold Cup day where Bobs Worth, Cue Card, Silviniaco Conti should fight it out.
The Investec Derby on the 7th of June could have a real International flavour where the SA sponsored race could have a fav named Australia, in addition they have an entry named Scotland and if you are into mugs doubles you might consider Miss France for the 1000gns.
The EPL has been great this year and who would have thought that Man United would be 70/1, where City have hit the front at 8/10, Chelsea 4/1, the Gunners 11/2 and Pool 15/1.
I will leave you with a quick Irish lesson if the exchange rate improves and you fancy a trip to the Emerald Isle.
Have a great 2014
Good punting and may your God be with you
