Striker SMS tipping line - we name the spammer

Right! Just got off the phone to Clinton Basel & he thanks you for the publicity! Good or bad as long as it benefits racing & the majority of punters in the end.

Firstly the striker spammer was never hiding, EVERYBODY knows it's Clinton Basel,
who is one of the most innovative entrepreneurs in this country and a highly
proffessional presenter from the days of See How They Run on SABC 3 when sum people didn't know what a horse looked like and other people wern't even on the country!

When a punter like myself has to hear the rubbish that one has to read on ABC by some of it's members, not all, it really gets pretty tiering & boring. As an avid Strydom & Zaki follower, I have found out that 40% of the money (R30 sms) is allocated to the service provider such as Vodacom, MTN & CellC, and 40% to the WASP provider (for the idiots out there, Value Added service Provider), and the 20 % remaining, which is R6, is divided amongst advertising & Distant Star (R3) and the other 10% to the IP (Information Provider, Strydom or Zaki) which is (R3).

The majority of punters appreciate and enjoy this service & see it & appreciate it as just another form or channel, thankfully to the technology of our times, to receive information from the Jockey or Trainer directly... Cause they cannot to sit at home on their ass all day with the TV infront of them watching TellyTrack, some of us work & need our cellphones to receive that information. I can't just walk up to Strydom or Zaki and ask them what their opinions are of their rides & runners on the day. So if you FUCK this up for me & miss a P.A because of you lack of respect for the majority who treasure this sport & service as a great guide to a better day's racing & informative for us all, YOU WILL FIND MY WRATH and the WRATH of the majority of end users.

AS FAR AS SPAMMING IS CONCERNED, IN THE BUSINESS WORLD IT'S CALLED a D A T A B A S E, FILLED WITH SUBSCRIBERS AND THEIR NUMBERS WHO HAVE ASKED FOR THIS SERVICE AND ASKED FOR THE PROMOS TO BE RECEIVED. THE BEST IS, WITH EVERY SMS I RECEIVE, THERE IS AN OPT IN (OPTION IN) OR OPT OUT (OPTION OUT) WHICH HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR ME, TOGETHER WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR CLIENTS TO AIR THEIR VIEWS AND TO REQUEST WHETHER THEY WOULD WANT TO CONTINUE OR NOT. IF THIS HASN'T WORK FOR YOU, TRY AGAIN OR SEND AN EMAIL BUT MAKE AN EFFORT FOR GOODNESS SAKE. WHY DOESN'T THIS GUY JUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLEY... WHAT IS IT THAT HE WANTS??? WHY IS IT THAT HE'S MAKING EVERYBODY ELSE'S BUSINESS HIS BUSINESS??? DOES HE WORK? IS HE VERY BORED OR SOMETHING? IS THIS SITE DOING SO BADLY THAT ALL IT'S INFORMATION IS GROSSLY UNFOUNDED??? INFACT THE LACK OF INFORMATION BEFORE GOING ON THIS SITE BY THIS GENTLEMEN IS SO GROSSLY UNFOUNDED IN IT'S RESEARCH THAT IT'S NOTHING SHORT OF ADISGRACE AND AN ABSOLUTE DEFORMATION OF CHARACTER FOR ALL CONCERNED.
THIS GUY ON THE ABC SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIS ACTIONS & BOW HIS HEAD IN DIAGRACE!!! I THINK THIS FORUM SHOULD NOT BE KNOWN AS THE African Betting Clan, but rather the KKK Klu Klux Klan, YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE MAJORITY OF PUNTERS IN THE TOTES AROUND THE COUNTRY, BUT FOR 10 OR 20 OF YOU ON THIS SITE!!!

THANK YOU CLINTON BASEL, THANK YOU PIERE STRYDOM, THANK YOU DOMINIC ZAKI FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS AND FOR VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL GAIN... YOU ARE GENTLEMEN AND SCHOLARS WHO PUTS THE PUNTERS FIRST WITH THIS INFORMATION & WELL DONE FOR COMING UP WITH THIS IDEA TO PROVIDE US WITH INFORMATION WE WOULD NEVER HAVE GOT ANY OTHER WAY WITHOUT A TV AND EXPENSIVE DSTV SUBSCRIPTION.

THANK YOU AGAIN AS I HEAR THAT MARWING, DELPECH, FORTUNE, HERHOLDT, HILL, VENTER, YENI, D. WILLIAMS AND G. HATT FROM MAURITIUS HAVE JOINED. IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT THE PUNTER IN THE STREET IS SERVICED, NO MORE RED TAPE. MOST OF ALL THANK YOU TO THE CELLULAR NETWORK PROVIDERS FOR YOUR TECHNOLOGY WHICH I'M SURE COST YOU BILLIONS OF RANDS.

Please note it is cheaper to sms this service 42403, than to phone the tote with no information, take your bets, your P.A & P.6 etc... and lose your money at the end of the day due to lack of info.

As far as African Betting Clan is concerned and the dictatorship it's run by, it seems there's nothing like a dying breed creating a situation, hoping just to keep this blogsite alive one more day. I wonder who the innocent victim will be tomorrow? D I S G R A C E !!!

As you were kind enough to explain the service to us and how it is providing a worthy service to punters wishing to make use of it, can you tell me how I can receive unsolicited sms's advertising the service when I have not asked for it. In particular who provided them with my phone number.

Yours in anticipation.

Thank you for yur response. This service has been running for 2 years and if you have subscribed once 2 years ago, which you might have forgotten after having tried it, you will be on the database OR somebody else (family member or friend) used your phone to do so as there is ABSOLUTELY no other way. Fortunately enough for you as a non subscriber that you claim to be, it is a quick & simple procedure of a quick email requesting your removel:

email address is on the promo you wish not to receive anymore, as i have said in my response. I think it's racingsms@gmail.com. I will try contact Clinton tomorrow who will gladly assist.

example: To: racingsms@gmail.com
Subject: Remove my number
Message: Please remove my number 083 333 3333 from this service.

as easy as that!

I'll be on this blog another 5 mins and never again.

P.S. Just to let you all know that Strydom & Zaki are getting minimal sms's
because those who do go on and pay send the info to 10 other friends for free, ILLEGALLY and against COPYRIGHT regulations and can be prosecuted. The point is, there's a massive loss of income for Strydom & Zaki kind services anyway. I can assure you that the service providers will start taking measures against the guilty parties.

I asure you that I have never subscribed and my phone is well protected from others using it. In principle I would not use the service as I only bet my own horses.

Thanks for the advice which I will try next time one arrives unannounced.

I assure you that your phone isn't or wasn't protected properly and that you can deny being a non subscriber on the ABC website as much as you like. The fact is that somebody has used your phone. give me your cellnumber, I will refer it to
Clinton Basel and prove it to the world.

FURTHER MORE YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ASHAMED OF ADMITTING THAT YOU WOULD ASK PIERE STRYDOM FOR HIS INFORMATION AS HE IS WELL KNOWN AS ONE OF THE BEST RIDERS AND BEST JUDGES IN THE WORLD, AND SHOULD AVOID SUCH STATEMENTS IN THE FUTURE!

I have told you as far as your so called next unannounced promo is concernd that you claim you get, simply OPT OUT via email, it is as simple as that.

It is clear to me now that you not willing to OPT OUT and therefore you obviously enjoy the drama and want Strydom's info.

YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME!

TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE ON THE DATABASE AND WANT TO OPT OUT, UNLIKE MR GIJIMA (RUN)
SIMPLY EMAIL, IT'S AS EASY AS THAT! NO NEED FOR DRAMA, NO NEED FOR ANY OF THIS IN FACT, BECAUSE THAT OPTION IS AVAILABLE TO YOU AT ALL TIMES! ANYTIME OF THE DAY, NIGHT, ANYWHERE & ANYPLACE. NOW! YOU ARE REALLY WASTING MY TIME. ALL POSSIBLE QUESTIONS, PAST PRESENT OR FUTURE, ARE ANSWERED IN THE ABOVE RESPONSES FROM ME.

NOW NEVER AGAIN DOES THIS SITE, AFRICAN BETTING CLOWNS DESERVE ANY MORE OF MY TIME!

NJOY THE CIRCUS!!! THIS IS IT 4EVA!!!

THANKU AND GOOBYE!!!

You know I planted in the drought times. First a Potatoe then a Onion. I carried on planting it this way all over my plantation.
We had bad drought during that year. No water for irrigation.
This was the best idea ever. During the middle of the day it got so hot that the onions would cry and water the Potatoes.
Onion i mean orion please water the potatoes.

My Mom-In-Law's number was accessed from a TABGOLD Competition entry (AND ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE BLOODY ELSE) , which surely was the property of TABGOLD - not staff of Phumelela , Gold Circle or any other associated entity.
Why should we go to the trouble of requesting unsubscription when it was illegally obtained in the first place?

I say: Which of the top ten trainers as listed by the NHA or let's even go to the top 20, regularly uses Strydom. What do these top conditioners like Mike de Kock know that you, Orion, do not know. We have many Jockeys that have left their marks and are still leaving their marks world wide. Other than the marks that Strydom left the last time he went to a toilet, what marks has he left in International racing. In fact would I be correct to say that Strydom is the ONLY South African jockey to FLOP, in International arena.

Please do your homework, as you are talking *&^%$#$#

But under the conditions and with his handicap he is truely a great jockey. I reckon that his handicap has cost him well over 150 winners a season and most certainly success abroad. You see Pierre is a really nice guy, has amzng talent and one of the best "clocks in the head" but he loves his handicap and has made his bed and continues to lie in it.

So i am sorry i disagree he is an exceptional jockey that has just not truly realised his potential.

There is no doubt that Strydom has a bit of cult following. I will rather vote with the likes of Mike de Kock and the other top 20 trainers who do not use him. Every top stable that has used him has dumped him. Why ?

Sometimes things are exactly the way that they look.
