Practised with all these guys............Played Addington U16 then Durban United U19 and then colts................all the time being a fanatical Durban City supporter Travelled to 4 Castle Cup finals at Rand Stadium.
The reason I couldn't play for City was I had a fight at school with the son of a senior coach.......(wouldn't have made the bench)

Arthur lightening coached us at United quite often ....great guy.

(Spanner Hartmann got shot by his missus who was tired of him reporting home at 3 am ever day!- eventually "thought he was a burglar")

I remember watching soccer at the Rand Stadium sitting high up in the stands, abiut 9 yrs old. My boet waz walking around selling coke and crisps. A shot balooned way over the crossbar and came straight at me. I jumped up and headered the ball. Fark me, my head squashdd into my neck and shoulders, I fell in a heap... was crying so much about my sore head my boet had to take me home. Cost him his job....
