Rules

As many entries as you wish provided R200 per entry has been paid up front. (R200 covers you for ONE entry per week for FOUR consecutive Saturdays)

Choose ONE horse to win each race of the featured meeting. A fictitious R100 tote win and R100 tote place will be wagered on the selection.

Example of winnings calculation: R100 and the horse wins, paying R3.80 a win and R1.60 a place. Total return and NETT amount credited is R540.00 If that is your ONLY bet in the money for the day your end of day total is R540.00

Another example Your selection finishes second and pays R1.70 a place. You accrue R170. Simple.

Note You don't go into negative amounts. If you pick 9 losers you are just on zero.

The daily winner is the entry with the HIGHEST amount of money.

Entries close 30 minutes before the first race. I will be using ABC clock on the thread and CARDED off time of the first race. Note, this rule will be strictly adhered to.

Scratched horses are just that. Scratched. You do not save your R200.

Post selections in the format R1 - # and Name (R1 - 10 Polly Shorts)

Just an idea and maybe I'm talking from my run of seconds but why not increase the stake to say R250 and the last R50 goes to the top person after 4 events?
