Anybody investing in the PA blitz has almost no chance of getting a positive return-it is a disgrace to " responsible gambling".

Has with any bet taken we cannot predict the results beforehand. With just 4 legs running and 2 favourites hitting the board, the dividend of R39 was a good one in the end. Knowing only 4 legs will be running its obvious your bet structure will change to a one that will be taken for a full unit or more, depending on what you can afford.

Sorry ,I am battling to understand whether you agree or disagree that take-out should be pro-rata'd to legs completed..........or just philosophising.
you will note that most abandonments are after bets are struck, so the "knowing" seldom comes into it.

The takeout on a single event,a tote win,is 18%.
The fact that this is a 'multiple' bet with a takeout of 25% is stated as the rules before the bet starts and then 'it is what it is' after the event starts..I don't see you winning this battle.
I thought I at least had a chance when I went to a meeting with the gambling board with regards to bookmakers limiting a punters' bet size just because they are a winner. To my mind it was a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Act as it is discriminatory in it's nature. They told me I don't have a leg to stand on.
This all comes down to revenue, and these boards are all just an arm of goverment at the end of the day.Every extra cent they squeeze from punters pockets ultimately adds to revenue, all be it small amounts.
Good luck fighting it though.Personally I have tried to fight these fights in the past, but I'm at the point of surrender now,it's just too taxing.
