Got two multiple bets standing...one with SA to win and one with SA to draw...took them when odds on each was about 7/2
Problem SA face is that Perth pitch stayed true and flat (maybe even got better) for last two days whilst this one is deteriorating quicker thus increasing chances of further uneven bounce...uneven bounce is greater enemy for batsmen than uneven pace...and that's why I cannot see 300 (from either team) in second innings...Aus already have a 300 lead so going to be a mammoth effort to save this one and though done before (Perth vs Aus and JHB vs India), this pitch does not make me positive...

CNC, certain things happen once in a lifetime e.g. SA chasing down the 414 in Perth and the 438, 50 overs match. It's nice to will yourself to believe it will happen in this Test, sadly i don't believe it will. The weather is the only thing that will stop the Aussies from a deserved victory.

That was a shocking display of fielding by the Proteas.

One of those tests that everything has gone wrong for the Proteas - imo started with electing to bowl (but had we decided to bat first, the game might have been lost by now) - then a few close calls here and there meant that March and Steve Smith got 'in' and made the most of it.
From there it went from bad to worse - I think they underestimated the Aussie bowling attack (well basically Johnson) and also played some poor shots against the spinner, who imo is not really that much better than Peterson or Duminy.
Then yesterday we were poor - and the Aussies will find it hard to let this one get away - pitch is starting to behave a little 'up and down' - so only a miss-timed declaration and a lot of rain can save us - both scenarios unlikely.
So we have to start thinking about the next test - do we make any changes - the lack of a quality all-rounder (Kallis) is now being shown up - for me McLaren probably not the answer - but maybe we should think about including Elgar (in place of Peterson) and Abbott in place of McClaren - that way we have another batsmen and two part-time spinners - a more balanced side :S

As much as it pains me to say it the aussies are in top form and we are not simple, they will win the series imo
