Great effort by the boys. Must have a great chance in the final. (tu)

Inzi's nephew looks a great prospect for Pakistan but injured himself in the field in the Semi. It will be interesting to see if he plays in the final as him and his fellow opener have scored most of Pakistan's runs.

Our strike bowler kagiso Rabada took 6-24. He was getting up 142kph at times. Not bad for a 19yr old. This boy will be a protea in the future!

Great performance...

Bowling fast at a young age leads to lots of stress on the back as body not fully developed / strong enough as yet...(it is abnormal to bowl fast as it is abnormal to do distance running...)...needs to be managed very carefully to avoid the pitfalls of so many young fast bowlers...

Agreed! He has to be managed well from now. He is our future Dale Steyn!

There can be only one Dale Steyn...Kagiso Rabada could be a champion bowler of the future but the path from where he is to where he can potentially be has been travelled by many and very few have ever seen the destination...

Most batsmen do very well when they are younger as technical flaws are overcome by excellent hand-eye co-ordination...also, there are not too many bowlers with the skill and pace to trouble batsmen at age-group level...technical flaws show themselves when they face more experienced, skilled and faster bowlers as they move to senior cricket...
Case in point is Richard Levi...I used to see his name in the papers every week when he played schoolboy cricket...he was dominant at age-group level but as he has progressed to senior cricket, his technical flaws cannot be overcome because of the vast improvement in the quality of bowlers he faces...yes, he did and does occasionally play a dominant inning but nowhere near as consistent and dominant as he was at school-boy level...

Also, there are more batsmen than bowlers in teams (likely 7 to 4) so more will fail or be found out...just glad we have a player with this potential...needs to build his strength first and then extend himself otherwise we have another Mfuneko Ngam on our hands...
