there were three things that caused the decline of racing - CASINOS, The Equine flu outbreak in the then TVL and the removal of Racing results and commentaries on the Radio and SABC(Newspapers not running copy were also a factor) Out of sight out of mind - If this is true then the curtain call may be upon us unless a radical new approach can be found.

I doubt it - Most people I know that have a full bouquet don't ever use 239 and the amount of advertising shown could never cover expenses - How many outside adverts barring Interbet and Bettingworld are ever flighted? Have Tekkietown or Vodacom or other non-industry sponsors ever flighted adverts on that channel except when their race appears? Is VW taking adverts between races now that a trio of Polo's are being given away?

Gee guys ::o If TT is all you watched then you could have got the 239 channel with TLC and a few kiddies channels for 99.00 per month or just TT and TLC for 49.00

I agree, but sometimes the most unlikely straw breaks the camels back....What do we really get for our R700...? just got to psyche myself up to say fark you to them...and join the Madji in some physical activities...instead of becoming a pharmocological (if this word does not exist, I'm patenting it...) test-tube...
