Hearing there has been an outbreak,not sure where but the western cape has been locked down to protect the region..

Will this effect the upcoming sales?

But could this not be turned into a positive - How many racehorses inoculated correctly have died from AHS in this period? Surely that is proof enough that our preventative meds work unless I misunderstand and the AHS vaccine has failed and racehorses are dying

MDK et al can forget about exporting with a quick lead time. Live with it and manage it. The current protocols are here to stay for a very long time.

Who cares anyway as there won't be any breeders left.

with no ahs and the weak RAND oversees buyers could have a field day at the sales,you could buy close to 20 X R1m horses for £1m, about the same you pay for ONE Gallileo in the UK

Shew - didn't hear about the Shongweni one. That's scary! It is the time of year where we can expect outbreaks to start. And it's scary how many cases still are horses that HAVE been vaccinated
