It's a big big day for Sunderland as they head to Wembley after some 16 yrs to take on Man City in the League Cup Final this afternoon at 4p.m. [s.a.time].

In their last 5 EPL encounters Sunderland have come away with 3 victories over the Citizens at home at The Stadium Of Light. Man City have thrashed them 3 - 0 at Etihad on the one occasion and have been held to a 3 - 3 draw at home on the other occasion.

With Man City desperate to get some silverware in the cabinet under new coach Pelligrini, it will definitely be no walk in the park even though there is 10 to 1 available with some bookies on Sunderland.

However The Mackems have descended on London, amongst them a few Scots, and it will be interesting to see which camp Scotia will be in, Hibs as a Man Utd. fan is already in his corner.

You might see some,Sunderland fans in the city end,there was a scramble for the tickets,sunderland end tickets were like hotcakes on the Internet and City fans dont seem to have the same passion for todays game..

Sunderland have beaten Man City this and last season and I cant see them losing as the underdogs always seem to turn up at the League Cup final 1-0 to Sunderland
