"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 23rd March Workings..

Afternoon.

This afternoon completed, and went as follows.....

The 1st runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 3.5 on arrival and then a withdrawal and 12.8% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 2.74. The price was still high, but then came tumbling down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 2.74 max. The lay came in 2nd after a battling finish, so a good result.......

The 2nd runner we wanted 3.3, and with drifting to around 3.4 on arrival and just getting bigger, we never got our lay price and so race to racers had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner, but good discipline and a good leave...

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.1, and with being around 3.2 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 3.1 max. The lay was nicely beaten and so a good result........

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 2.02 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave........

The 5th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.5 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.5. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.0 and beyond, so a chance for traders (builders hit and finished) to have a 'free' lay before the race. The runner was beaten and so a good result.........

The 6th runner we wanted 3.0, and with drifting to around 3.15 on arrival and just getting bigger and bigger, we had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! early traders happy though........

The 7th runner we wanted 1.5, and with being around that on arrival, we had a lay at 1.5. The lay went and won, so the way it goes......

The 8th runner we wanted 3.3, and with being around 4.9 on arrival and not coming down to any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift justified and one that got away in hindsight.......

The 9th runner we wanted 2.1, and with drifting to around 2.94 on arrival and just getting bigger, we had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave..........

The 10th runner we wanted 2.7, but a non runner and 7.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.58. The price then came down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 2.58 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes........

WELL PLAYED......

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 0.5 of a target.......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner).............They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 5th runner, and with needing a little to hit on their 3rd lay (the 10th runner), they couldn't get it and ended up losing 0.5 of a target, so ended the session winning 0.5 of a target...

Bank building strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.74 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets............They then had their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) at 3.1 max, and a good result see them hit their targets...

Traders had to concede a little on the 7th runner at 1.5, and the 10th runner at 2.58,but all others see them win a bit, or break level, so they lost a little on the session, but the way it goes guys and not a problem....

So builders got in and out early, and good stuff guys. Rollers went one up, then had to concede a bit after a late battle, so good enough stuff guys and have a good evening. Speak in the morning...

Morning.

The races, runners, and prices, to work around for this afternoon then, as follows.....

2.10 Towcester. DEBAUCHERY (3.5)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.0 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominent in his races*

2.20 Musselburgh. BARRALAND (3.15)

Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.3 or under.

2.30 Plumpton. TURBULANCE (3.2)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

3.10 Towcester. RIGUEZ DANCER (1.96)

Our price 4/5 (1.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.6 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

3.35 Plumpton. NAJCA DE THAIX (2.6)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.7 or under. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominent in his races*

3.55 Musselburgh. ACE OF SPIES (3.0)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominent in his races*

4.10 Plumpton. EDES (1.44)

Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 1.5 or under. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominent in his races*

4.40 Plumpton. VICTREE (3.5)

Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.3 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

4.50 Towcester. EL HOMBRE DEL RIO (2.34)

Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.1 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has several ways of running, so no surprise if we see him race prominent*

5.40 Plumpton. QULINTON (2.82)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he raced prominent on the flat when in France, so may use those tactics on British, and hurdling debut*

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 10:01am.

That's what we have to work on for this afternoon then. Again it never fails to look tricky, but when we have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, then we shall do just that. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon...
