I have just been to my brewery and we are expanding the bar area and to promote different drinks and snacks
from different places,Biltong is being sold.I thought it was Beef Jerky when I first spotted it.
im game for anything and have brought some home.
what is it and how should I taste it and with what,,no funny answers

Make sure read the label before eating as it could be Labrador and not beef

that's for sure, the yanks beef jerky shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as biltong...

Dave my cousin Yoland has a butchery in London called Snoggy's and she stocks all South African treats , Biltong is one of her biggest sellers along with Boerewors well worth a visit..

Am meeting my son for breakfast tomorrow in Mayville, Pretoria. The restaurant is an extension of a butcher. Will be choosing my own thick large T-bone for breakfast.
