This would give credence to a hijacking theory......highjackers confiscated phones.....and thus no one was able to answer them....8-)

Yes, but on the other hand the plane could be at the bottom of the Indian Ocean.......unless the hijackers jumped out before the crash and had the cellphones up their backsides.......they were then rescued with the cellphones and proceeded onto land with the loot 8-)

Only phones ringing in the initial part of the flight.....while batteries were still charged and not in the sea....could well be at the bottom of the ocean after 11 hours.....and much less.....Air Malaysia notorious for not flying with spare fuel....but now beyond the bizarre....if plane was low on fuel it could have attempted a crash landing at sea....any survivors may have had a small chance....but not knowing where to search put paid to any chance of survival.

Both boxes, including the box which talks about the engines, fuel flow, etc to the grond crew, were turned off.

It just looks like junk to me. About the size of two London buses. About 1500 miles off the coast of Perth.

If it does turn out to be debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane it will mean the jet flew for a further seven hours after losing radar contact with air traffic control.

And that would add strength to the theory that an onboard emergency knocked out the crew and passengers – leaving Flight MH370 to fly on autopilot before running out of fuel and plunging into the ocean.

Personally don't think it could be the plane as the area they are looking at is 2500 kms south west of Aus...that is very far off-course from original path which was from Malaysia heading due North...
Forgive my ignorance...how does a plane, if on auto-pilot, end up 180 degrees from original path and +-6000-8000 kms (guesstimate) from original spot ???

Currents could of pushed the wreckage that far south? ... but i did read that particular shipping corridor is renounded fot ships dumping waste material, which supports macs theory.
