AND SO IT GOES ON.........

Latest development in the 'Tellytrack' saga is the imposition of a two minute delay on the international 'feed'. Apparently to prevent the picture being 'pirated'.
So now the 'world class' service performs something like this :
1.) The studio presenter sounds like he is in a toilet. (Maybe that's where he is now that Multichoice want them OUT). There is a distinct echo on the studio audio.
2.) Yesterday viewers would have already noticed at Cheltenham that there is no relationship between the audio and the picture- the commentator has described the relevant jump a good while before you see them take it.
3.) It has not taken them long to overlay their logo and information on the picture. I have already experienced cases where this obscures the view of the runners during the actual race.
4.) The local presenters -who know precious little about the international horses - are now interjecting over the on site presenters with irrelevant dross that we already know....eg This is Cheltenham etc., None of them appear to have ever learned that TV broadcasting requires that you 'let the picture do the talking' and add value with facts and issues that the viewer cannot see.
I am glad to be getting this 'service' for free because I WOULD NOT BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT.

....to add to this misery..... beside Cecil sounding like he is in the toilet ...the horses going down to start at Moonee Valley while the feed audio has been muted so we cannot hear their on course banter.....even broke away to take an interview with a trainer on horse's chances and no sound....FFS I am no good at lip reading nor sign language....:X
