SPORTINGBET IS ONE OF THE WORSEST BOOKIES AT ALL; LIMITING U AFTER TWO THREE BET SOMETIMES:
hey hibs, how can u make advertisment for them? did they pay u. yes, if u loose, they are very kind, year after year u can losse, but then, if you win, they limit u after two weeks, then limit to nothing after 4. if u are new, they limit u after 3 days.
THAT IS DIRTY AND UNFAIR.
don't loose your soul by working for them hib

I had a look at their odds & their odds look fairly reasonable.
I then decided to do a search on the reviews just before I opened an account.
On Hello Peter I could only find one complaint which is fairly good but I couldn't find any compliments.
hellopeter.com/sportingbet-south-africa/...payment-made-1078071
Anyone who si familiar with hello peter will know that they would have contacted sporting bet to give a chance to reply to the complaint.
The complainant the has an opportunity to change the complaint to a compliment if the complaint has been dealt with to his satisfaction.
Before I open a bookie account I always like to look at a few reviews to see what other people have to say about them.
I'm nt going to comment on the reviews because I have never dealt with sporting bet before, but judge for yourself.
www.sportsbookreview.com/sportingbet/
www.olbg.com/sportingbet_Free_Bet.html
forum.sbrforum.com/players-talk/1779200-...m-beware.html?slf=68
Out of the top 100 bookmakers they are 75.

Can't understand what the problem is - if I understand correctly, anybody that wants to join the compo, need to open an account - nobody is forcing anyone to deposit some money into that account - so you are not forced to bet with them - anyway hibs, I suggest do not get influenced by one or two people that has a problem with the sponsors - I'm sure most of us appreciate what you are trying to do for us (tu)

Frodo before I deal with anybody I search the internet to see what other people that have dealt with them have to say about them.
When ladbrookes closed their doors to South Africa they indirectly gave me the middle finger & I that was they last I saw of the money that was in my account even though I tried to withdraw it prior to the cut off date stipulated on their website.
Other than that the only time I have had a dispute with a bookmaker was with William Hill & they dealt with it in a very professional manner.
I also have an interbet account & to date I have never had a problem with them honouring a bet unless it had been rejected prior to the start of the event.
The first thing I look for when placing a bet is value for my money & the second thing I do is make sure my bet falls within the rules of the company I am betting with.
We all know that there are a lot of criminals & conartists in the sports betting industry, but their are also a lot of professional punters as well as punters that bet for recreational purposes.
Although the bookmakers have to deal with a lot of low class scum doesn't mean they have to join the ranks of the low class scum.
If a bookmaker rips me off they can be garunteed they will find a report regarding the incident on the social media & he more than welcome to defend himself by replying to my complaint.
If I place a bet & they accept my money, if my bet wins I expect them to honour it.
If doesn't want to honour my bet he shouldn't accept it in the irst place.
Looking at SBR most of the complaints abot sporting bet are regarding arb trading.
I have had a look at their rules & regulations & can't find anything related to arb trating.
If they don't want to accept an arb bet they can write a piece of software that will reject your second bet.
They should also stipu;ate it in their rules.
I'm not saying I will never open an account with Sporting bet but I would like to see a lot more positive posts from punters before I put my hard earned money in their hands.

not wanting to ruin the comp for everyone so have split the threads, members that don`t want to enter don`t need to...
ps you don`t have to have an account to enter the comp but if you win and don`t have an account you will lose out in a possible extra grand
