Question regards Pylon.

The horse has awesome form on sand .119 rating or such.
Grass form over shorter trips absolute crap. runs to about 71
takes a 6 month break. come back run is grass 1450. runs like crap.

why not have a go at the Riverside handicap a few days later. Sand right trip.

I don't get it.

I imagine that because of the virus, Mike knew that he wasn't yet quite back to his best, so used the Turf run to bring him on, but it would not be in time for today. Also, remember that he did get badly cut into in the Emerald, hind tendon, so would probably have been on the easy list at home, before the virus.

Azzman knows his game, will do the right thing for him. Sand Season starts to build from May, so all looks right to me.

All of this is speculation, from myself, as a Trainer.

Speculating - perhaps MR too high for that handicap :S
