where is that "pirates" tearoom ??????
will take me 5 years to get my own licence if all goes well .....
nobody just gets a trainers licence , its not the government where you pay people off
who are you cracing? clearly just a punter and not an owner and surely not a trainer.

Only owners nominate their runners. However, most owners choose to delegate this authority to their trainers by power of attorney. Therefore owners are still accountable.

Hi Zietsman,
I am family of a trainer and not a punter at all. I am on the side of trainers and suggesting that some trainers are not making the best of their professional status. Basically just keep your horse in the class that it belongs in

If I had racehorses and one of them qualified legitimately to run in one of the big races, then I'd certainly want them to compete...irrespective of whether they are in the same class as the horse(s) at the top of the boards. I've certainly seen many "no-hopers" walk away with the big prize so egos apart...if my horse qualifies to run in one of our premier races at 100/1 and gets into the top 5, have I done myself and/or the racing public a disservice?
There is no certainties in horseracing so a smaller trainer saying "if you have a ticket, you have a chance" is allowed to dream as well otherwise you may just as well hand all the wins to the top trainers.

Place the horse correctly or else the handicapper will kill you.You run a good close up 6th in a graded race, earn no stake money but get lumbered with a big MR increase,....that can knock you back a season in racing. If you have the class and ability you take on the best,if not you race properly through the division's.Dont jump in the deep end too early,it will knock a horses career backwards at 100 miles an hour....

Where's My Chop(MR 87) is an example(11 wins I think) of excellent placing by a trainer
FORMGRIDS
Has never been entered in a Gr or Feature race even when hitting a purple patch wining 5 of seven starts . Gray knows his ducks from his swans it seems
