rockspider did it before with a 150/1 and he can do it again raiding from kimberley to the highveld in a graded race with a "no hoper" in punter's eyes... why not? if you dont have a ticket you dont have a chance ...go for it rock... you have nothing to lose

The 150/1 shot was an unraced and unexposed 2 year old. Nix power won a dirty Kimberley maiden beating soup meat. She had her chances in Gauteng and got beaten out of sight in Maiden Plates. Taking the acceptance fees and traveling costs and working out a Pick 6 with the loot would be a way better option.
Zietsman, I had a look Secret Delights pedigree and can't see him staying the Derby trip but why not give it a bash ? You have nothing to lose.

sorry harris .....secret delight hates the grass.... trying to win a maiden then will try the emerald cup.....lol
give every man his place in the sunlight
last year luchelle kruger entered fanzene in a listed race with an appie on .....110/1 ..... must i remind you what happened also.....
if its the owner's wish then who are you to tell him he is crazy or doesnt know anything.... its his horse his money and his trainer . let them live out their dream without shooting them down the whole time.
let it be. they know their odds...and they prepared to take it on.

Agree with Mac.... racing is about opinion and choices.....simple really. And many of those opinions and those choices might not be the same as those of the non Owner non Punter who started the thread....
