I think that even over the years on this forum every "suspect" result tends to be blamed on the jock.
I know they are not angels but I would guess that no more than 25% of the issues lie with the jocks -unfit and unsound horses , seem to be overlooked!
Many times I have been on a horse, based on its previous run and yet when you watch the runs together it's hard to believe they are the same horse..... The action and the way the horse is traveling tells you it's not your ( or the horses day) long before the finish, no matter how much effort the jock makes!
