Tellytrack presenters not allowed to tip ?
11 years 1 month ago
Has anyone noticed that that Tellytrack presenters have stopped giving their tips?
Seemingly compataform selections have to be used only, this might be a good thing (
)
but Laff,Molly, Deez etc do have their followers

I think it's silly - no way that the Computaform selections can be more relevant - these do not take into account any late scratchings and 'info' from stables - so the on-course presenters' tips should be more useful than the Computaform selections - imo
Not sure why it has been discontinued :S

Maybe it is because they are clueless and have been forced to stop

No I don't in general - but I have found on occasion that one of them would point out something that I had missed (and imo Julie has been getting a lot better at this - in fact for me she is the one that I would take note of most out of all the Gauteng 'presenters'); also when horses return from a rest, nowadays in general they try to find out from the relevant trainers about the 'readiness' of these runners - would be even better if they can get this 'info' before the exotics start - but at least it is an improvement.

Spoke to cousin Floyd he reckons that Big Rod was so Kak that to save face he has implemented the policy.
No no one can outshine the other.
he has also bought everyone that works at Tellytrack "that can read" a copy of Animal Farm.

what ratings they need to use in computaform? the computsform selections , speedrating selections or the tipster selections? because it differs alot and only the tipster give a short summary of his selections and reason why it is selected.
at kimberley i know for a fact that Gareth Pepper normally outshines the 3 selectors per race in computaform
and not because he study form so much more but because he talk to most trainers and stable connections and give it through to the public .
big ups to one man that surely try doing his job well and go the extra mile at flamingo. lylle also did as much as possible when he stood in for pepper.
why can the presenters especially in gauteng not do it? they have 2 presenters in gauteng but still even when they come into paradering they doesnt have the decency to even greet , so how do they get the headsup by stable connections?
one big man sat 2 hours next to our table at turffontein before meeting start and he knew axactly who we were. didnt even greet and never ask about horses....just doing a quick studying of the card before meeting started to make s few quick picks as selections.
if you to lazy to go ask about runners chances then please dont be too pathetic not to do your homework properly.
anybody can pick almost whole field " in the back of quartets "
you ONLY find roughies to tip by doing proper homework or get info straight from stable

you guys are kidding me, relying on trainers info...do you honestly believe they gonna give out the graft!!!
Do you know how many times i hear trainers with there cock and bull stories after the race, how a horse had a few ''problems and they have now sorted it out'', HOW CONVENIENT, they didn't mention that to the on course presenter BEFORE THE RACE... This this only one example, plenty more.

The Cape Twon presenters dont even bother to ask the jockeys about the course going etc and trainers what they fancy for the rest of the day. this information does help in making the exotics.
i feel that getting as much information from trainers and jockeys regarding their mounts does help and bring about a little transparency. there are many punters out their in the totes that wait for this information.
they talk about increasing tournover...how do u achieve this by with holding information
