UK 16th April

Great racing at Newmarket, Beverley and Cheltenham today.

Keep an eye on all Tim Easterby's runners at Beverley today. Some nice each way prospects and when he starts the season as he has this year you cant ignore anything he sends out.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

Newmarket

R1 - Provident Spirit & the newcomer Emirati Spirit. The stable must regard it as it is a Dante Stakes and Derby entry
R2 - Very little to choose between Flyball & Hurricane Charlie, but the jock/trainer combo makes Flyball my 1st choice. Of the newcomers, Portamento & Mind of Madness.
R3 - Bon Voyage. If One Chance can reproduce the form where she came 3rd in the Queen Mary at Ascot, she could be a big runner. Also changed stables & William Buick is on top of his game atm. Others with chances are Wedding Ring, UAE 1000 Guineas trial winner & Toofi
R4 - Shifting Power beat Treaty Of Paris by six lengths. The latter went on to win the Acomb Stakes so the form looks rock-solid
R5 - Dorothy B & Classic entrant Sandiva
R6 - Barley Mow and the Irish raider Obliterator, had 1 run and won, no strong form from that race, but is entered in some listed events. A roughie I like is Cordite. Appleby & Mullen very hot atm.
R7 - Munjaz. Hanagan prefers him over Mustadaam. I see that Wrangler is a Dante stakes entry.
R8 - Tough race. Expert looks the right 1.

Enjoy

Last race.Expert is. Overpriced at 11/1
I had it down as a 5/1 poke.
Ran in a very hard race last time, compared to this.

Singeur 3-05 Beverley, similar odds to the above, but has good ew chance..

Done those 2,with Cotswold in lSt at Clairwood.
Ew patent 11/1,11/1 and 16/1

Well behind the fav Aetna, but that was after a break and soft conditions. Better ground today and running at lowest mark. 9/2 now. (tu)

I just checked odds and your right,11/1 was last night..
I've left bet with someone and I'm 100% sure I won't be getting 11/1..
Whatever Corals were at 10-00am,is what I've got on all of them.

Regarding Singeur.
I know they punted it when it ran at Ripon and won.
Had a few races since and they didn't punt it and it was down the field.
But they have punted it today.
Bastiman is a very shrewd cookie.

Cheltenham

2:40 - Susquehanna River @ 8/1

Spotlight : Often front-runner and never left alone in that role when an 8l third over 3m at Exeter last time (jumped well), that following a bit of a break and on only his fifth start over fences; could be more to come at this trip (stays 3m2f) and one for the shortlist in first-time headgear.
