Was an easy win in the end but I was worried half way through...was a good bet to catch...so my R50 start last Monday is now a tidy sum...not going to take any bets tomorrow...no standout rugby or other bet...

I am right now doing a quick revision of my opinion of Kohli ... always looked such a sour bad-tempered little bu88er. Good batsman, oh yez, but with enough attitude to curdle the milk. Kohli is just short of 50, sitting on 48, and is on strike. But then with 8 runs to get he takes one run to give the strike to Yuvraj Singh, his buddy, who is desperately short of confidence, so that he will get his 50. Yuvraj hits a 6 and passes 50, then a single to give Kohli his chance. One last run needed to win, Kohli hits it and therefore ends the game on 49 n.o.

Good for Virat ... behind that green-lemon face is a real mensch, imho.

I'll bet this is the next India test captain coming up the line.

Good trait of a captain is to show / keep faith in players...almost cost them when Dinda was getting hit about even though two other bowlers had bowled better earlier...will learn to adapt to needs of match situation rather than stick to loyalties...

Good player...but none of the humility that past Indian greats showed...and we have seen the cost of arrogance on many an occasion...
