Sure, a lack of humility (or realism I prefer to call it) can undo a captain. But then Graeme Smith was also considered an arrogant so-and-so when he took over the reins of the Proteas and he ended up doing pretty well in the old end.

Way I see it, a fighting spirit often looks arrogant - often IS arrogant!! - especially in a young man all pumped with testosterone and rather short of the harsh training that real life dishes up to us all. Time and troubles will cure that, oh yez. Hopefully the will to fight will stay, though it doesn't always. I think what Kohli showed me yesterday was that, although he's a nasty little in-your-face punkrocker right now, he has the seeds of a greatness that in years to come will grow into a strong personality with real ethics.

Actually Naiker, I'm not really disagreeing with you. But watch this space ... Koli will be skipper! You heard it here first!

He's being groomed for it from a young age...was U19 captain a few years ago when India won that World Cup...

Difficult to win games when umpires are as useless as this. Jedeja had Maxwell plumb given not out and Maxwell smashes the next over. (td)

Priety Zinta's Kings Punjab XI have a very good batting line up. Sehwag just has to fire at the top and Johnson to come good with the bowling for them to make a serious contender for the title. They have my money.

The Maxwell and Miller Show for the second time running, and the bowlers didn't show up. They'll have to soon, as M & M can't be expected to walk on water every time.

Teams chasing have been dominant in tournament so far...think only one team batting first has won in the matches to date...

Great hitting again yesterday...they need to put in bowling machines as T20 and ODI are not for bowlers...even Saeed Ajmal (and he's a great bowler under all conditions due to his variety) bemoaned the fate of bowlers in these forms...
