RA Membership
11 years 1 month ago
I got a strange email from the Racing Association yesterday stating that since I no longer have my colors, my RA Membership will expire on May 9th.
I was wondering if any other RA Member ( who has given up their Colours) had a similar email

Thanks Dorrie, I gave up my Colours 2 or 3 years ago and no one has said anything about it. I have friends also who have never had Colours and are still RA Members

The RA has received an updated NHA colour holder list and is now working from that.
There are quite a few that have or will receive that same letter.
As being a colour holder is one of the prerequisites of being an RA member they feel it is owed to members to conform with that.

Neven777, as far as I know GC members are not in the same boat. I know of members who have not got colours any more but have been members for over 20yrs.

PGE should use this to their advantage and offer punters an option of paying a fee to become VIPS (or giving them that benefit through loyalty) Regular racegoers should have their own badges and parking spaces etc Marketing that should have been done decades ago when Casinos were licensed in SA.

Thanks for the reply Mark, but when we use the facilities we do pay for that privilege, not as if we get anything for free mate
