Runner today: Blarney Bay race 4. Goes for 3 in a row, but is up in class and has been lumped with another 4kg penalty. Hard to believe that 6 months ago he was a struggling 1 time winning 5 yo on an MR 63, and now an 83 with four wins. He is fit and well, and MJ keeps the ride. A wide draw to overcome. He can win again if he shows a bit more improvement, but no betting value at the opening call of 5/2. There are some hard knocking older horses headed by M'Lords Throat, which again gets the 4kg claim and is a big threat. Golden Dane is 3kg better off for 2.5 L, while Grasp your Destiny and Golden Crystal are both well weighted today. there are also some smart, improving 3 yo to contend with, the best of which may be the lightly raced Independence.
Blarney was a banker last time, but today I will load a few others with him. Hopefully he can rise to the occasion.
Other races:
Quite a tricky card today. Course should be good, Weather fine, although quite windy (headwind).
Juvenile races see some promising sorts, and the usual difficulties with first timers and those improving after a run or two. Ramsden has a strong hand: Chesters Wish looks the one to beat in the first, although Rebels Game and Tygerhoogte both have claims.
Black Chrome ran a very good race behind Elusive Stars last time, and that form franked by 4 th in that race Thaler Point an easy winner next time, and Elusive Stars ran well in the listed race subsequently. This looks a strong field, and I predict at least 5 of these will win soon. Paradise Horse is good backup for the Ramsden yard, and has the better draw, while Indemnity also has good form, but a poor draw. First of May and Shingle Beach should also improve on promising prior efforts.
I'll start the day with a double on Chesters Wish and Black Chrome.

Firstly they are running in the 2nd race and secondly it's a very strong race so anyone of a few can win this...just like Peter said.
