UK Saturday

Ripon 2-50
DOC HAY won a decent sprint over track and trip in September. He beat Seeking Magic, Love Island, El Viento and Fast Shot on that occasion and should go very close again after a pipe-opener at Nottingham. Trainer is bang in form, had 6 winners in last 8 days.
9/1 ew

St.Morritz. 5-10 haydock
Left to join this stable last year, and if trainer can rekindle some of its old spark,it's well handicapped.
Trainer David O'Meara also trains Doc Hay,in fact he is so hot at the moment I'm punting another 2 in a multi
Louis The Pious and Sweet Lightening,2-20 and 3-25 Haydock.
If you can get 8/1 on St.Morritz it's worth taking, this is a class4 race and he has mostly ran in class 1 and 2.

What do think of Hopes & Dreams from that stand-rail draw ? This is a different mare since switching to front running tactics.

Haydock - Horses that should be in top 3 today
R1 - Nubar Boy - very much a contender back handicapping @ 11/2
R2 - Cono Zur - 3 x c/d winner. Good going will suit @ 8/1
R3 - Louis The Pious - stable in form & 2lb lower than when second in the Ayr Gold Cup @ 13/2
R5 - Yourartisonfire - with a 6lb pull on likely less testing ground than the run @ Doncastor when 3rd behind Brae Hill in soft cond @ 8/1
R6 - Ski Lift - a fair 4th from 19 when slow away over 7f. Was supported that day. 1m should suit @ 7/2
R7 - We'll Shake Hands - Good debut win, but wheels came off last 2 runs. Conditions suited today and should stay 1m on pedigree @ 8/1

Dark Leopard is having his 4th career start and has been placed on all three occasions and with Hughes in the saddle at 3/1 there is a case for him to win the first at Leicester. If he wins then I am on board for the day

this is what I dislike about Hughes. He sees that his mount cant win and he stops riding. I hope that they look at it as its a piss take
