Hollywood - read the fine print

Placed a double bet on liverpool/Chelsea 90min.under 1.5 goals on to Chennai Super Kings to win . Opening my account this morning this showed a loss bet . I phoned Hollywood and was told that the loss stands as the game had extended to over 90 mins when the 2nd goal was scored and if i read the fine print it is self explanatory . My point is that i placed the bet seeing the 90min as the benchmark for a result as shown by Hollywoods . At 90 mins their was only 1 goal scored . Surely the 90min shown should be removed from the betting as it is misleading to punters ? The final whistle whether its 91 mins or 97 mins will prevail and not the 90 mins as shown by Hollywoods . I feel rather done here but sure others have also experienced this sour lemon im biting into this morning . I accept one must read the fine print but suggest Hollywood remove times from their betting as it certainly is misleading to punters who dont scan the fine print !!
No refund offered to me or a suggestion that my point would be taken and looked into ....hope this assists other clanners when placing soccer bets and maybe new into punting on the above mentioned
cheers

Lotters it's 90 minutes and injury time, every punter on the planet knows this

And the rules are the same with every bookie , if you had bet over 1.5 goals you would have been paid

The second goal is also classed as being scored in the 90th minute

Like the first goal was scored in the 45th minute +3, if they said the 48th minute it would have to have bend scored in the 2nd half

Disagree with you . You cant assume its plus injury time when you see 90 mins . I now know the hard way , All im saying is 90 mins can be misleading for some players . They should amend that and there wouldnt be any confusion

Problem is that clock is not stopped when there are injury stoppages hence it goes over 45/90 minutes even though playing time was 45/90 minutes...

For clarity, even though currently rules understood, should be changed "Half-Time" and "Full-Time excluding extra time" rather than 45 and 90 minutes...this will then accommodate any injury time...

Sorry Lotters, but unfortunately the 90 minutes means to the final whistle. The 90 minutes is there for games that might extend to extra time or penalties to determine the result. Sorry but as Hibs says, this is a universal rule, and if you said over 1.5 your bet would be a winning one. This would have been the case if you have taken the bet with any other bookie in South Africa.

Unlike rugby the clock is not stopped in soccer 90 minutes is the same as Full Time. As Hibs said it is the same with all bookies and you would have lost with anyone.

Thanks for your response to above . I see Tnaicker agrees that their should be a change of rules to maybe avoid confusion . It can be misleading Dev but hopefully my input here gives you and your team some feedback to look into

Change of the football rules ? Just blow the whistle after 90 minutes, even after all re stoppages ?

HI Dev I am also looking to start taking bets on soccer and move away from horse racing
took one a year or so ago with atc and won R4500 with a R100
the other day took my second soccer bet six games atc unfortunately 5 teams won as I predicted last one lost but now I am looking to try again
just want to know if it says 90min that includes all goals scored until end of game which is 90+ added time, what is the situation where they add on extra time or penalties?
I know that there are bets where the final score will include extra time and penalties what will your betting guide then say?
just want to know I get it right
