R.I.P Cerise Cherry
11 years 1 month agoHi Robert
I confirmed this morning that Cerise Cherry was euthanased after breaking a leg in the Gr 2 Sprint Cup on Sunday.
He had flown the flag for South Africa for many years and will be missed. I took a lovely photo of him at morning work, sadly the last one.

The very same - Comes from a strong Zim family and luckily that blood continues with his full sister CHERRY FLOWER who has already thrown a winner - Antonia Major(Bred and owned by formite TOONTONY) with her first foal. I can't wait to see the foal this mare throws to that hulk of a stallion- SEVENTH ROCK.

Rip cerise cherry, what a cracking horse from an early age when he chased home warm white night in the grade 1 feature at scottsville up until his death very recently. Great loss to the racing world.

if memory serves he also got a 250k bonus(I think it was about that much) for getting the most points in the Triple Crown of his generation
