Are partly to blame for driving the punters to sports betting?

No. During the summer the south easter blows and this slows down the horses and the jocks are holding on for their lives and that's why they crawl. In the winter the North wind blows into their backs and that's why they hold tight in order not to fall off. Well if I were a jockey that would be my explanation.

perhaps like in the Health profession certain sporting codes need to go on refresher courses but I must say the worst display of riding I've ever seen in my life was the grooms day(I have seen far better before) and that appy race yesterday. At Turffs the horses were so unbalanced that they appeared to be short of runs . Such poor riding gives you an idea of how good professional jockeys can be. I really think Variety Club would have been beaten if he was ridden by any of the grooms that rode yesterday.
