If the feats of our trainers, horses and Jockey's does not make more than the usual spot in the major papers I will be disgusted. This is an achievement of note and one of the proudest moments I have ever felt as a South African. Well done South Africa

It is achievements such as these that can bring racing out of the dark and back to its former glory. 3 million US$ for Jay Pegs win - surely those with cash would want to invest.

Its time for South Africans and the media to recognise SA racing as a major player in world sport.
