1st Race
After a good effort behind Bongo Beat, Fidelis, who is in an improved condition is the pick. Sunil Bussunt stays up and another solid performance is expected from him.
Saziwayo drops back to 1400m. He is generally slow at the start and therefore his chances will depend on his start.
Jack Flash has improved steadily from one race to another this year. He will have Nooresh Juglall in the saddle and will break from a decent draw. He should be thereabouts this time as well.
Fraser and Single Tempo can run in the money. The latter will have to overcome his wide draw and will have Rye Joorawon up.
Top tip: FIDELIS
Watch out: SAZIWAYO, JACK FLASH, SINGLE TEMPO

2nd Race
The Raj Ramdin charge, Young Royal, looks a safe bet after knocking in his first win. Has the advantage of stall three and is still in a good shape.
Ignore the last run of Fort Noble as the distance was too short for his liking. He has a decent draw and Horil on his back this time.
His stable mate, City Of Choice, returns on the Draper’s mile but has an awkward draw this time.
Cirac must be seen again after a below-par outing last time. The step up in distance will suit him and should be on the shortlist.
Dupont Circle and Montante should be in the exotic mix.
Top tip: YOUNG ROYAL
Watch out: FORT NOBLE, CITY OF CHOICE, CIRAC

3rd Race
Ryder Cup has been very dominant in his first two starts this year before finishing fourth. Derreck David will have the four-year old handy all the way or may as well take the lead from the ace. Has a top chance.
Sweep Forward, a winner first-up can challenge Ryder Cup. He has done well at track work and another good performance is expected.
Just B Brave has benefited from his debut race and is worth being considered here.
While going wide in the exotics, the honest Shahruhk looks the other winning hope after an eye-catching run in upper category.
Man Of His Word can pick a minor placing whilst the 4-year-old colt Bingelela makes his return to competition this season after back to back wins last year.
Top tip: RYDER CUP
Watch out: SWEEP FORWARD, JUST B BRAVE, SHAHRUHK

4th Race
The Gilbert Rousset-trained gelding, Forest Shelter, can get back to the winner’s enclosure after finishing runner-up in his last race.
His main opponent could be Tube Wave who won convincingly in 41-25 company. He looked in good shape in training and should go close.
Levanto drops a class once again and should be followed. He will tackle an 1850m race for the first time though.
The bottom weight Don’t Say Don’t who had an encouraging run last time and Carson City can run in the minor placings.
Top tip: FOREST SHELTER
Watch out: TUBE WAVE, LEVANTO, DON’T SAY DON’T

5th Race
Two three-year-olds, Dust In The Wind and Yoda Man have a chance to break their maiden status in this 1600m race.
Dust In The Wind can go one better this time after a promising debut. He will appreciate the additional 200m.
Yoda Man finished strongly behind Power Dive. He will break from the ace and being a Dynasty, he should handle the mile.
Tornado Man should be seen again after an average effort last time where he met with interference. He looked well during his workouts.
Soaring Free did not finish far from the winner in two races this season and should go close once again.
Keep an eye on Blue Berry who will be blinkered this time. He has won his only race in South Africa with this gear and will have the assistance of Rye Joorawon.
Top tip: DUST IN THE WIND
Watch out: YODA MAN, TORNADO MAN, SOARING FREE

6th Race
On current form, Seeking Angelo sets the standard and will have plenty of backing following his impressive display in the main contest of race meeting six.
However, Living With Heart is the pick after finishing runner-up in the first classic, the Duchess. He has improved after that race and if given a good ride, he can go one better.
Parceval is worth a punt. Even though he might have preferred a mile or longer, he would appreciate the additional 100m.
Azapel can fight for the minor placings while both Mozart’s Giovanni and Hot Rocket can run well as they shoulder only 56.5kg.
Top tip: LIVING WITH HEART
Watch out: SEEKING ANGELO, PARCEVAL, AZAPEL

7th Race
The best chance of the day for Johnny Geroudis could come in from POLAR ROYALE in this 1600m contest. He has won in each of his 2 starts this season and it would be a surprise if he does not make it a hat-trick.
Undefeated in two races this year, Polar Royale can make it a hat trick of wins. He is up in class but is still in a good shape.
Wonder Kid seems to be the best from the rest even after an average start to the current season. He has shaped up well after his first race and can bounce back.
His stable mate, Posse Comitatus, will be fancied as he drops a class after finishing second in the main event of the fifth meeting. He could give a sight.
Arabian Empire pulled off an upset last time. He is up in class but has a good draw. He will go for another wire to wire as there are no other front runners in the race.
Glitter Star had a good form prior to his last run. An improved performance is expected from him.
Top tip: POLAR ROYALE
Watch out: WONDER KID, POSSE COMITATUS, GLITTER STAR

8th Race
Noel Callow’s best chance seems to lie with AMBASSADOR REX who returns off the back of a solid performance behind Rulerofmyheart in race meeting five. He is backed to open his winning account for the season.
Leo’s Rush picked up a win after Lion’s Print was declared a non-runner. He should get a gun run from stall three and challenge in the final straight.
His former stable mate, Glory Boy, could not down the front runner Obama in his last race. He should make his presence felt this time as well even if he will break widest of all.
The dark horse of the race is Bali Mojo who will break from the ace and drops three classes.
Top tip: AMBASSADOR REX
Watch out: LEO’S RUSH, GLORY BOY, BALI MOJO

9th Race
Races don't come much tougher for punters than this wide open contest where several horses are in with a winning chance.
Deux Fabuleax can bounce back after finishing fourth in his last race. He has the advantage of stall one and will be hard to down if he is allowed to set the pace and is not bothered in front.
Rulerofmyheart will have the stable jockey in the saddle this time and should go close once again.
Direct Approach will be comfortable on the mile and will be motoring late as he is still in a good shape.
The bottom weight of the race, Salute The Saint, will break from a good draw. Should be followed in the betting.
Captain Vedici will wear blinkers and also have a tongue-tie this time and he can finish in the money.
Top tip: DIRECT APPROACH
Watch out: DEUX FABULEAX, RULEROFMYHEART, SALUTE THE SAINT
