Gauteng Gambling Board sucks!!!

The statistics page on their web site has not been updated since the 23 /5/2013.Surely the whole lot should be dismissed.The other major gambling provinces are right up to date until the end of March 2014.The National gambling Board should make all the boards use the same format such as the Kzn model which is the best.

On the subject of websites, hat's off to the NHA for their new website.
Previously ,news was over a year out of date but now very informative..........Please keep it up guys!

I agree the HRA website is very current.A few things i would like is the list of horses names not available,and more detail on how a horse is bred.

Yes! Judge basically said that their pending decision preempts his decision, but he said he was happy to turn the screws on them to deliver if anyone felt like asking him.

He also said that Phumelela's attempt at tampering with the Gambling Board rule much earlier basically proves that their story that the overseas partners causing the TT calamity recently is bullshit. Or in his words "a further issue which is troubling is the apparent about face by the first respondent as regards its application to have clause 10 of its licence deleted"

I guess "bad faith", "unanswered questions", "collusion" and "about face" might be judgespeak for lying bastards?

He said when it came to costs for Phumelela he didn't want "in any way inadvertently to reward a party for acting unlawfully or in bad faith". You have to say that it looks like he would have skewered Phumelela if he could have.

Do I have to say imho? Nah, we always knew they bad faith.

So the suggestion that they may be dishonest whenever it suits them ,may not be so far fetched..............like strange tote dividends!!!!

The fact that in terms of the 3% betting tax which is awarded to Phumelela from the punters tax by the province for the picture to each of the betting shops in the Gauteng Region at no cost to the bookmaker will tell the story.The GGBBB are a bunch of yes men including Edward Malumbi who professors to be the head honcho.They have not yet ruled on the fact that Phumelela tried to have their TAB licence renewed without having to lay one bet in their provinces whiteout having laid a bet.So in other words they would close down racing in their regions and subject us to overseas racing only.This was challenged by the bookmakers and they still await the out come 3 years later
