Suggestions to Hollywood

I hereby suggest that a cash out option be implemented for horse racing.

Example:

If i take a fourfould to win with a potential pay out of R10 000.00
and the first two win i can opt to cash out for let say 75% of the total payout

If 3 win and i opt to cash out 50 % of total pay out.

Can this be possible ?

Your being unrealistic 75 % for two winners ?

Would never cash out , i would rather explore other ways to earn from the remaining selections

I'm assuming @zesto meant 75% of price of double that is in...not 75% of the total value of initial bet...:S

Why not just do a double on your first 2 selections running a treble on your first three running and then also the fourflod? Instead of playing R100 on a fourfold put R50 double a R30 treble and a R20 fourfold.

Don't think one can take a Yankee with different outlays for different combinations...

One should have the option close out a bet early but subject to penalty for doing so...eg. 65% of price of double, 75% of price of treble, 85% of price of quad, etc...leave it to those who are more knowledgeable about betting percentages so work out the penalty...

Certainly not at the percentages he is suggesting-as pointed out before the last leg of a Yankee represents 63% of the entire bet and 100% of a fourfold, why would a bookmaker offer that kind of settlement suggested.
The only time it is likely to occur is if the bookmaker is "in trouble " with the final runner and the settlement would be tantamount to the punter laying back the final runner, but at a much better price than they received initially!

Agreed...penalty should be higher the earlier the close out...just think the option should be available...those with more knowledge can work out the penalty percentages but, I had a rethink about it and it should be based on the odds of the remaining legs rather than set percentages...
