Scotia on the World Cup and the July (tu)

Good morning all and hope you are alive and still punting?
I have been waiting for a call or message from Pele re: the World Cup but
time is running out and Gold Circle came to the rescue with an invite to
the July so we have something to look forward to over the next few weeks.
We will take a long weekend and hopefully find a few winners?
Johno and George will be at the box at Turffontien and we will be keeping
you updated with photos and the latest info.
The site continues its steady growth with viewers far exceeding the
posters and I still get my normal calls that " I don't actually read the
site but I have been informed "

Plenty new topics but the Tellytrack fiasco has had plenty press and we
can only hope that changes will be made and the correct personnel are in
place before a decision to show Ngong or the ARC has to be made? Its on
the 5th October and we might see Treve clash with Australia?
Plus please consider the "Investec" Derby for home viewers and maybe
scrolling betting as the war between the operators and bookies has had a
massive negative impact on racing punters.
However lets look forward to a positive future and try and find a few
winners, the July still open if you consider the uncertainty of the
runners ( Beach Beauty, Futura) to mention a couple, so ante post not
recommended and remember only 16 runners this year with 4 reserves.
Have been looking at the World Cup and it is probable that a team from
South America will win but I am sure we will have a few shocks and
surprises during the tournament

If you are a boxing fan
Australia hard to beat
I find it difficult to get my mind on International racing these days
after what we have missed over the last few frustrating months but
considering better viewing ahead.
We have (or dont have) Royal Ascot where Shea Shea can win the King Stand
, Toronado in the Queen Anne, Treve for the Prince of Wales, Leading Light
in the Gold Cup and if you are looking for the Investec Derby winner and
it might go against the grain for many South Africans but Australia looks
impossible to oppose.
Can California Chrome win the Belmont and lift the triple crown? Why not.
I must say, we were treated to a special song during Andries performance where a rugby player in the pub asked to sing a song and this was goose bump material "the Hangover has talent"

Have contradicted myself by taking an ew bet for the July and hope the connection go for a massive farewell for their star Beach Beauty??
If she runs I am sure she can win the big one.

World cup in disarray as hotels have food that is past its sell by date, stadiums are not ready, state of emergency for floods. I hope that in the weeks that remain they get it right. It also does not help that FIFA take the cherry off the cake plus the entire cake.
