"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 30th March Workings...

Afternoon.

This afternoon completed, and went as follows......

The 1st runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.58/6 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.6 max. The lay finished 2nd after a close finish, so a good result......

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.7, and with being a well supported 2.56 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at 2.56 max. The lay was beaten, so a good result......

The 3rd runner we wanted 1.44, and with being around 1.62 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner pulled hard early, and didn't do anything too easily, but won well enough in the end and so a good leave......

The 4th runner we wanted 2.4, and with drifting alarmingly to around 5.1 on arrival, and just getting bigger, we never see anywhere near our lay price at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner never looked happy and pulled up, so the drift justified and 'one that got away in hindsight' (very fishy!).........

The 5th runner we wanted 1.7, and with drifting to around 2.08 on arrival and then a non runner and 9.3% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 1.63. The price was above evens and getting bigger, so with never seeing our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid another race. The runner went and won by half the track, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.........

The 6th runner we wanted 2.9, and with being around 2.6 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at 2.6 max. The lay got beat after a dour a ultra close photo finish, so heart attack stuff, but a good result.......

The 7th runner we wanted 2.2, and with being a well supported 1.91 on arrival, we had a lay at 1.91. The lay had to pull it all out, but got the win quite well in the end and so the way it goes.........

The 8th runner we wanted 2.2, and with being around 2.4 on arrival and not dropping down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave.........

The 9th runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 1.93 on arrival and although dropping down, the price never came down to us at any stage before going back out again, so another race to avoid for all. The runner came in 2nd, so it was 'one that got away in hindsight'...........

The 10th and final runner we wanted 3.0, and with drifting to around 3.1 on arrival. getting bigger, then dropping down to our lay price right near the off, we had a lay at 3.0. The lay went and won a battling finish, so the way it goes. Only traders playing now though, and they easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it! No harm done..

WELL PLAYED..........(4 from the first 8 (50%) went and won, and 5 from the 10 (50%) in total. So tricky and testing, but pleased to say we dealt with it all well enough and got the wages, so well played guys)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won one target......They started their first strategy/target on the 1st runner, and hit their target on their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner)...............They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 6th runner, and after a good start, they/we then found ourselves just above levels after our 2nd lay (the 7th runner), and with being levels with just one potential lay remaining after a couple of no bet races, it's always advised to take the levels and walk with now no room at all for error. So rollers end the session winning 1 target........

Bank building strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.6 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets..........They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) at 2.56 max, and a good result see them hit their targets.....

Traders had to concede a little on the 7th runner at 1.9 max, but all others see them win a bit, or break level, so with too many winners again it was a decent enough effort to finish levels at worst, so well played guys..

So builders made light work of a tricky looking session with hitting and walking nice and early, so well played guys. Rollers also got the wages after going one up, then battling to a draw on their second strategy/target. Well played guys and speak in the morning..

Morning.

Sorry it's a bit late this morning, but I just cannot get used to this clock thing and yet again have made a fool of myself. Total idiot and apologies for any inconvenience it's caused. Anyhow...

The races, runners, and prices, to work around for today then, as follows.......

2.00 Kempton. HOPE ROAD (2.58)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.7 or under. *Traders be aware that he has a few ways of running, so no surprise to see him race prominently this afternoon*

2.10 Hexham. BANOGE (2.86)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominently in his races*

2.30 Kempton. LEADING ATTRACTION (1.53)

Our price 4/6 (1.67) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.44 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

4.00 Wincanton. HERE-COMES-THE-TRUTH (2.28)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although lightly raced under rules, he did race more prominently last time, so may well do so again this afternoon*

4.25 Hexham. HUSH TIGER (2.42)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

4.55 Hexham. SANTO STEFANO (1.75)

Our price 4/5 (1.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.6 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a bit more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

5.15 Kempton. CHINA GOLD (2.94)

Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 11:06am.

That's what we have to work on for this afternoon then. To be honest it has the look of yesterday to it, so looks a tough one, but we just about have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon..
