I heard that he has relocated permanently to Ashburton ?

I am not sure about "permanently" but yes he is at Ashburton.

Heard his interview after Lertasha won on Saturday.
Maybe misunderstood.

Anyway, does it make sense for a visiting trainer to be based in Ashburton ?
One would think Summerveld or Clairwood would have been the likely choices - if boxes were available ?
