One bet for me today is Afterburner, won previously at the course and has a nice weight. Taken the 8/1 EW.

Morning all, first post on ABC but have been following for a long time. Looks a fairly tough card today, best of luck to everyone.

Add milenium wind to that list of roughies today, make the 25/1 huge.

Elvis and myself have Master Entertainer having his first run for us - funny sort of a race with only 8 runners after the scratchings; Invierno has had one very good and one very poor run on the surface, Striker seemingly not riding him, so who knows; Dual Alliance is at best over this trip, needed his last start and is drawn in pole position and looks the right horse to me; Boy oh Boy has fair recent form, but may prefer slightly further.
Our guy may prefer a touch further as well; stable feels he is in good shape and could surprise - for me he is a touch high in the ratings (although he has a best rating on the sand of around 81 when running behind Pylon some time ago) - so we are hopeful of a stake cheque (tu); will probably come from behind, so hopefully the track does not favor the front runners as per usual
For the rest, imo it looks pretty competitive, I fancy Sybil a bit - needed her last run and the 1800 is ideal for her; also Peregrine looks sure to go close on his last run - Mike de Kock has 2 Trippis trying the sand for the first time and the outcome of the P6 depends a lot on how they take to the sand - if they win, the P6 div may no be more than 10k
Enjoy (tu)
