I know there's been money for Kingmambo's Legacy, he is carrying 2.0kgs less than FW and has the more favourable draw to boot, BUT, FW is a serious race horse. On debut he beat Light Up The Lights (16/10 into 8/10 that day) by 1.50 lengths. We all know what LUTL did in his next start, skated in by 4.00. In FW's last start, in open company, he had everything against him - ran against 3, 4 and 5 year olds, badly out at the weights for a 2 year old over the distance this time of year and was drawn 9 - 15. He won like he was dropped into the race at the end of it all.

Swop the jockeys around, FW and KL, what price FW? All credit to the De Kock stable for their loyalty to Kennedy. Look, KL may yet still go on and win tomorrow, but I'm gonna stick with the devil I know.
