Guessing game Frodo. Will take my chances with COTT as she will be well in after romping home on Saturday. (tu)

The concern with Cherry for me is the track - I think she needs a longer straight to build up .

Like Mr H, I would also like to see In the Fast Lane in the field (can't see why not) - as I have backed her at 75/1 and the followed up at 50/1 (having forgotten that I have already backed her ::o). Course winner, wasn't stopping in the Woolavington, gets 2 kg's from the Legislate - riding arrangements will be interesting

Can't see In The Fast Lane not making it as she was 5th on the previous log and Yorker is out now.

strange COTT was rated 112 after the TT last year(time 157.43 Oaks) while Louis The King(time156.10 Derby) is only 109 (I do think these colts are superior to last years at this stage considering Love Struck won a Leg and Yorker only came good after gelding)

How to start a fight - wherever Legislate runs, the two Woodruff 3 years olds will finish ahead of him! Why? Watch the DN 2000 again - once Legislate hit the front , it was a matter of how far he'd win by. He wasn't eased up at the end, he was ridden out. He hung from the outside to the middle of the track. When horses hang during the running, they are either looking for company, tiring or feeling something. The Woody horses were finishing a lot stronger.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
