JULY RACE DAY COMPETITION

Hi Guys and girls let us just allow anybody to enter
doesn't matter if they entered before
everybody can now show their tipping skills and at the end the winner takes all and have the bragging rites of being a top tipster

SirP, we dont use points...is tote payout...so no to that idea. As regards the R200 entry fee we can gauge opinions on that but I have another idea around that....
How about R150 entry... R100 entry and the R50 goes into a pool for a P6 made up of all the selections. If caught we play the followinf weekend for the dividend.... Or if humungous divvie... We divide amongst entries?????

Sounds like a plan.count me in.
Let me know once all finalised I willl enter since I'm not gonna be in dbn for this special day.

The Madji, you could have that the July you have a "R200" EW instead of a "R100" EW like all the other races.

The R50 Pick 6 sounds good. (tu)

Thanks to JB for the initiative - couple of points though; quite a few ideas being put forward here - for me the sooner the rules are put forward the better - AND STICK TO THEM TO AVOID CONFUSION

As for me personally I think the P6 idea could be problematic - what if we end up with 10 selections per leg :S

I do however agree with the idea of 'upping the stake' for the July itself - so have a fictional R200 each-way for the July, but stick with the fictional R100 each-way for the other races.

Regarding the entrance fee - as we will hopefully have a nice big pools anyway, I think it should remain at R100 (tu)
