What drama in the final over, England needed two wickets, Herath with 6 balls to go removes his hand from the bat, ball hits the removed glove and walks. Two balls to go and Pradeep given out lbw but reviewed and big inside edge so decision overturned then edges last ball just short if the slips. No lack of excitement in test cricket.

the West Indies v NZ series looking good with NZ 1 up and now batting first in the 2nd test. Wickets in the West Indies are flat and dry. Not that long ago whey were bouncy and hard, but they have no great fast bowlers anymore to exploit the conditions so they are niot going to prepare fast tracks for the visiting teams.

NZ all out for 221 on the first day with a West Indies spinner bowling 28 overs on the first day and picking up 3 wickets. Garner, Holding, Croft, Walsh and Ambrose and all the other great West Indian fast bowlers must be scratching their heads.

Sri Lanka fighting back hard today lead by around 250 with 3 wickets in hand. Could have a fascinating final days play. (tu)

they have lost 3 world class players and we have lost 2 so its going to be tough playing sri lanka in sri lanka...Mathews is very impressive in all departments ..cooks captaincy was shocking today and he might be replaced soon as captain

I think that they will keep Cook for the Indian series and if they get thumped then they will definitely give him the option of resigning. As for SA tour of Sri Lanka its going to be all about the spinners and their is no shortage of them in Sri Lanka so it looks like its going to be an uphill struggle for the Proteas.

Some good series this year. Pakistan v Australia in UAE and Australia v India and SA v a fast improving West Indies plus SA one day tour of Australia.
