Happened today at the Chariots at the Mildura meeting in race 6.

Amazingly Amanda Jane Turnbull on the odds-on fav TEZZ KHORA, winner of 8 races and 11 places from 25 starts and amassed stakes of R5OO,OOO--- , found the lead from the pole position and when turning for home, opened the sprint-lane for the trail drawn SUTTER MAN, winner of 8 races and 9 places from 28 starts and R 35O,OOO-- in stakes.

Zac Phillips in a strange drive opted not to go into the sprint lane but around the leader TEZZ KHORA around the final bend into the home straight. This allowed the rank outsider WINTERFEEL, who had O wins and 1 3rd from 13 starts and R 24,OOO-- in stakes only to his name to sneak thru via the sprint lane and cause a massive blow-out.

WINTERFEEL returned a massive R76-OO for the tote win and R14-6O a tote place ensuring a Jackpot c/over.

P.S. Chariot racing is not for the faint-hearted as yesterday at Melton, the 1 to 20 odds on pop ANNA FAYE [NZ] was caught on the post and beaten by a roughie BYE BYE LUV LOMBO that returned about R 5O-OO a tote win.The Jackpot was also a c/over.

Luckily.......................there won't be any MR hike for both ruffians.:D
